• A race for three-year-old trotters, Standardbred mare Atlanta became the first filly in 22 years (and only the 14th in history) to win and clinch the $1 million purse! In honor of this achievement, she received the Dan Patch Award for Trotter of the Year in 2018.
• Atlanta wasn’t done making history yet. At 2021’s Allerage Farms Open Mare Trot at the Red Mile, Atlanta’s incredible 1:49 win with driver Yannick Gingras earned her another title: history’s co-fastest female trotter!
